• Rickson Gracie - President JJGF

"I have devoted my entire life to Jiu Jitsu and recently had a revelation larger and more profound than the techniques and all of my accomplishments combined. The art’s most beneficial aspects cannot be seen or taught because they are mental, not physical. Jiu Jitsu changes an individual’s perception and the way one deals with life’s opponents. Despair, low self esteem, and a lack of motivation can all be defeated by the Invisible Jiu Jitsu."

"Jiu Jitsu teaches you how to survive on the mat and thrive in the world." Rickson Gracie.

I BELIEVE WHOLLY IN JIU-JITSU. IT CHANGED MY LIFE & CAN IMPACT YOURS IN MORE WAYS THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE.

Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone, the young and old, weak or strong. To this day it still amazes me how much joy Jiu-Jitsu brings to peoples lives.

Jiu-Jitsu is not a selfish art. Without a doubt, Jiu-Jitsu is fun, but it’s the sense of community and culture it develops. It’s about helping others, lifting spirits and developing relationships along the way and that’s the biggest personal reward for me.
